SQL Server & Azure SQL Reporting | ATX AnalyticsTable Connector

Microsoft SQL Server & Azure SQLATX AnalyticsTable connects to Microsoft SQL Server on-premises and to Azure SQL, so finance, risk and operations teams can query the warehouse they already run, build dashboards on it and schedule the reports that today are rebuilt by hand in spreadsheets.

What you can do

Sign-in with a SQL login, Windows integrated security, NTLM with a domain, or Microsoft Entra ID — password, service principal, default credential chain or access token
Named instances resolved through the SQL Server Browser, or a fixed port — treated as the alternatives they are, so a named instance never silently reaches the default one
Visual query builder, SQL editor, pinned queries and _SQL grid formulas that push SUM, COUNT and AVG down to the server
Dashboards, PDF reports and scheduled refresh on top of SQL Server data

How to connect Microsoft SQL Server & Azure SQL

Open Settings → Connections and add a SQL Server connection.
Enter the host with either a named instance or a port, and the database.
Choose SQL login, Windows, NTLM or one of the Entra ID modes; secrets go into the vault.
Press Test Connection, then query, pin and schedule as with any other source.

Security and governance

Encryption on and server-certificate validation on by default — trusting a certificate blindly is a visible, deliberate choice
With Entra sign-in and on-behalf-of turned on, queries run as the signed-in user; a failed exchange is an error, never a silent fallback to a service account
Credentials are held in the encrypted vault and never written into project or query files

Availability

Database and warehouse connectors are counted per workspace: three on Corporate PRO, five on Corporate Advanced and Advanced Plus, unlimited on Corporate Unlimited, and every connector on Free and Individual.
