Excel, CSV, JSON, Parquet & SQLiteMost reporting still starts with a file. ATX AnalyticsTable imports workbooks, text files, JSON, Parquet and local databases as bindings that remember where they came from — so Refresh, or a schedule, re-reads the source instead of someone pasting it again.

What you can do

Excel workbooks (.xlsx) with a remembered file and sheet, re-read on every refresh
CSV and TSV with delimiter detection, quoted fields, junk-row skipping, encoding choice and malformed rows reported by line number
JSON and NDJSON, with nested objects flattened into dotted columns and arrays of objects into linked child tables
Parquet files and SQLite and .duckdb databases
Parameters in paths and file names, so a dated daily file loads without anyone editing the import
Export back out as .xlsx (including multi-sheet workbooks), CSV, TXT, JSON, NDJSON or Parquet

How to connect Excel, CSV, JSON, Parquet & SQLite

Place the cursor in a sheet and open Get Data.
Choose the file type and the file; for CSV, check the detected delimiter and encoding.
Pick Preview or Static, and the import becomes a binding that Refresh — or a schedule — re-reads.

Security and governance

Import and export definitions are configuration only, never data, so they can be committed to Git and reviewed
PII masking can run as a pipeline step straight after an import
