PostgreSQL Analytics & Reporting | ATX AnalyticsTable Connector

PostgreSQLATX AnalyticsTable connects to PostgreSQL wherever it runs — on your own servers, Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Google Cloud SQL, or Amazon RDS and Aurora — and lets analysts query it from a familiar grid, pin results into sheets, build dashboards on it and schedule reports from it.

What you can do

Cloud presets for Azure Flexible Server, Google Cloud SQL and Amazon RDS / Aurora that default to the strongest TLS mode each provider actually supports
Sign-in with a password, Microsoft Entra ID (default credential chain, managed identity, service principal, Azure CLI or a supplied token), Google Cloud SQL IAM, AWS RDS / Aurora IAM tokens, or a client certificate (mTLS) with no password at all
Several hosts in one connection — an Aurora cluster or a Patroni pair — with a target session of read-write, read-only, primary, standby or prefer-standby
Pooled connections that refresh tokens as they open, so long-running schedules keep authenticating without anyone re-entering a password
Visual query builder and SQL editor, pinned queries, _SQL grid formulas that aggregate in the database, dashboards and scheduled refresh
Export results back into PostgreSQL tables, and cache large results in the local DuckDB engine so paging does not re-run the query

How to connect PostgreSQL

Open Settings → Connections and add a PostgreSQL connection.
Pick the cloud preset — none, Azure, Google Cloud or AWS — so the TLS mode defaults to the strongest one that provider supports.
Choose how to sign in: password, Entra ID, RDS IAM or client certificate; the secret goes into the vault.
Press Test Connection, then pin a table or build a query from the Table Queries panel.

Security and governance

TLS modes from disable to verify-full; verify-full is the only mode that authenticates the server you are actually talking to
With Entra sign-in and on-behalf-of turned on, queries run as the signed-in user, so the database's own row-level security applies — and if that exchange fails, the query fails rather than falling back to the application's identity
Passwords and keys live in the encrypted vault, never in the project file

Availability

Database and warehouse connectors are counted per workspace: three on Corporate PRO, five on Corporate Advanced and Advanced Plus, unlimited on Corporate Unlimited, and every connector on Free and Individual.
