Snowflake Reporting & Dashboards | ATX AnalyticsTable Connector

SnowflakeATX AnalyticsTable connects to Snowflake wherever your account runs — AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud — so analysts can query the warehouse from a familiar grid, pin results into sheets, build dashboards and schedule reports, while the role, warehouse and query tag you set keep both access and cost under control.

What you can do

Paste the account identifier (organisation-account or the older locator form), the hostname or the browser URL — the form shows the cloud and region it read, and Test Connection reports Snowflake's own CURRENT_REGION() so you can check they agree
Private connectivity for AWS PrivateLink, Azure Private Link and Google Private Service Connect, plus a host override for regional private endpoints, proxies and CNAMEs
Sign-in with a key pair, Microsoft Entra ID (External OAuth), OAuth client credentials from Okta, Ping, ADFS or Entra, workload identity with nothing stored, browser SSO, Okta native, programmatic or OAuth access tokens, or password with MFA
Set the virtual warehouse, database, schema and role on the connection — a least-privilege read-only role is the norm for reporting
A query tag on every query, visible in QUERY_HISTORY for cost allocation, and a statement timeout so Snowflake itself cancels a runaway query
An authenticating HTTP(S) proxy configured in the connection itself, with a bypass list
Query builder, SQL editor, pinned queries, dashboards, PDF reports and scheduled refresh — the same as every other source

How to connect Snowflake

Open Settings → Connections and add a Snowflake connection — or paste the JDBC URL your team already has and press Read.
Enter the account identifier, and tick Private connectivity if you reach Snowflake through a private endpoint.
Set the virtual warehouse, database, schema and role, and optionally a query tag and statement timeout.
Choose how to sign in — a key pair or workload identity for scheduled and server use, browser SSO or Entra ID on a desktop; the secret goes into the vault.
Press Test Connection: the report names the user, role and warehouse you landed in, the TLS version and the region.

Security and governance

Always encrypted, always verifying the server certificate; certificate revocation is checked in Advisory mode by default and can be set to Enforced
Microsoft Entra ID (External OAuth) with on-behalf-of runs each query as the signed-in person, so Snowflake's own row access policies and audit apply
Key pair and workload identity sign-in for service users — no password to rotate, ahead of Snowflake retiring single-factor passwords
Private keys and secrets live in the encrypted vault; a connection keeps only the credential of the sign-in method it uses

Availability

Database and warehouse connectors are counted per workspace: three on Corporate PRO, five on Corporate Advanced and Advanced Plus, unlimited on Corporate Unlimited, and every connector on Free and Individual.
