Google Cloud Storage Import & Export

Google Cloud StorageATX AnalyticsTable treats a Google Cloud Storage bucket as both a source and a destination: multi-gigabyte Parquet files load straight into the project database, and finished exports, PDFs and backups are written back to the bucket.

What you can do

Sign-in with a service-account JSON key, or with Application Default Credentials and no stored key
Direct ingestion of CSV, TSV, JSON, Parquet, .xlsx or a .duckdb database into the project database
Export flat files and workbooks to a bucket, with parameters in paths
Project backups with rolling retention, and cloud copy between storage locations

How to connect Google Cloud Storage

Add a Google Cloud Storage location with a service-account key, or use Application Default Credentials.
Ingest Parquet, CSV, JSON or Excel from the bucket straight into the project database.
Write exports, PDFs and backups back to the bucket, by hand or on a schedule.

Security and governance

Service-account keys are held in the encrypted vault; Application Default Credentials avoid storing one at all
Access scoped to read and write on storage only

Availability

Cloud object storage is included on Free, Individual, Corporate Advanced, Advanced Plus and Unlimited — not on Corporate PRO.
