Amazon S3 & S3-compatible storageATX AnalyticsTable speaks the S3 protocol directly, so it works with Amazon S3 and with any S3-compatible object store — MinIO in your own data centre, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi or Ceph — for imports, exports and backups.

What you can do

Amazon S3 in any region, or any S3-compatible store by setting a custom endpoint, with path-style addressing where the store needs it
Access keys, temporary STS session credentials from an assumed role, or the host's ambient AWS credentials
Server-side encryption on upload with SSE-S3 or SSE-KMS and your own KMS key, plus storage class and ACL
Imports, exports with parameters in paths, and project backups with rolling retention

How to connect Amazon S3 & S3-compatible storage

Add an S3 location: region and bucket, or a custom endpoint for MinIO, R2, Wasabi or Ceph.
Supply access keys, an STS session token, or rely on the host's ambient AWS credentials.
Optionally choose SSE-S3 or SSE-KMS encryption and a storage class for uploads, then export or back up to the bucket.

Security and governance

Every request is signed with AWS Signature Version 4 and sent over HTTPS
Keys live in the encrypted vault; ambient or temporary credentials avoid storing long-lived keys at all

Availability

Cloud object storage is included on Free, Individual, Corporate Advanced, Advanced Plus and Unlimited — not on Corporate PRO.
