Ask Greg building on governed metricsAsk Greg does not only answer from governed metrics, it builds on them: charts, pivots and KPIs bound to a metric, pipelines with a Governed metrics step, and data stories — every reference planned against the catalog before you see a card. With governed metrics switched on in the AI data policy (Prefer or Require; the default is Prefer) and proposals allowed, Ask Greg uses certified definitions to ANSWER metric questions and also to BUILD what you ask for. An object built on a metric stores the definition, not a copy of its SQL, so it follows the definition: every refresh re-plans it under the publish gate and the data access policy of whoever opens it.
