Lines, arrows, boxes and speech bubbles; styling, anchoring to cells and drawing order. The Reports ribbon has a Shapes group that draws over the cells: a plain LINE, an ARROW with a head on one end, a DOUBLE ARROW with heads on both (for "these two totals are the same thing"), an ELBOW LINE that turns corners, a RECTANGLE and an ELLIPSE for ringing the cells you want people to look at, a BLOCK ARROW — the large solid road-sign kind — a TEXT BOX for a comment, and a SPEECH BUBBLE whose tail points at what it is about. Shapes work on a sheet and on a dashboard; on a sheet they scroll with the cells.
