Cross-tabs on a sheet or a dashboard. Drops a pivot table OBJECT onto the current sheet, floating above the cells the same way a chart does — so a summary can sit beside the rows it summarises rather than on a separate page. It is the same pivot the Dashboard has: the same row and column dimensions, the same SUM / AVG / COUNT / MIN / MAX aggregations, subtotals and grand total, number formatting, date-shifted comparison columns, band styling and CSV export. Where it differs is the SOURCE, because a pivot on a sheet is asked for in three different situations, and its settings offer all three. A GRID RANGE reads cells directly — pick them on the sheet, or type a range, and the pivot recomputes as those cells are edited.
