Statistical FunctionsSyntax, arguments and examples for every function in the Statistical category. Formulas start with =. Cells are addressed by column and row, for example C3R5 (column 3, row 5); a range such as C3R1:C3R10 runs down a column. Type a formula into a cell, or into the formula bar (Functions → Formula Bar → Formula Bar). Returns the average (arithmetic mean) of the arguments. Evaluated in the database when the sheet is backed by a query.
