Syntax, arguments and examples for every function in the Logical category. Formulas start with =. Cells are addressed by column and row, for example C3R5 (column 3, row 5); a range such as C3R1:C3R10 runs down a column. Type a formula into a cell, or into the formula bar (Functions → Formula Bar → Formula Bar). TRUE when every argument is true, FALSE as soon as one is not. Takes any number of arguments, and a range counts as all of its values — =AND(C1R1:C1R10) asks whether all ten hold. An empty range is TRUE, which is what keeps a formula over a range that has not filled up yet from reading as a failure.
