Licences and activationThe signed licence file, the bundled evaluation, the Free edition, where the licence lives, installing one, the grace period and licensed modules. A licence is a signed file. ATX AnalyticsTable verifies it with a public key compiled into the build, so an air-gapped installation validates its own licence with no network at all. A licensing server is optional and only answers the one question the file cannot answer about itself: has this licence been revoked.
