SQL reporting is producing reports directly from saved SQL queries, so every figure can be traced to the query that computed it and re-run with new parameters or on a schedule.
Also called: SQL reports, SQL report, SQL-based reporting, SQL query reporting
In SQL reporting the query is the definition of the report. Parameters such as a date range or a region replace hand edits, and the result lands in a table, chart, dashboard or PDF rather than being pasted from one tool into another.
ATX AnalyticsTable keeps each saved query as a SQL file in the project, pins its result into the sheet, refreshes it on a schedule and commits query and schedule changes together under Git.
