Reshape: Text to Columns, Merge Columns, Value Map, DedupeSplitting and joining columns, recoding values with a rule table and removing duplicate rows. The Transform ribbon's data tools — the Sort & Filter and Reshape groups — operate on the active sheet. Sort: multi-level (up to 3 keys) ascending/descending, numeric-aware, blanks last. SCOPE decides how far the sort reaches: "All rows" and "Selected rows only" move WHOLE ROWS (every column follows the key, so a record stays together), while "Selected range only" rearranges just the selected columns and leaves every cell outside the range untouched — sorting C1:C4 that way cannot disturb C10 and C11.
