Project parametersNamed values referenced as ${name} in SQL, file names, paths and forecasts — typed, or read from a cell. Named dynamic values reusable anywhere as ${name}. A parameter has a name, an expression (a literal, or a formula like =TODAY()-1 supporting TODAY, NOW, DATE, YEAR, MONTH, DAY, ABS, ROUND, arithmetic and & for text) and a format such as YYYYMMDD. They resolve at RUN time in file paths, SQL, visual-query filter values and export folder/file names — so a scheduled nightly job picks up that night's date without anyone editing it. Three spellings are accepted: ${name} (recommended), $(name), and a bare $name.
