Fleet configuration and policyGroup Policy and Intune templates, config.ini, machine-wide policy files including the AI model policy, and which source wins. Settings reach a machine from five kinds of source: Group Policy, environment variables, machine-wide files, the user's own config.ini, and the application's defaults. Use Group Policy for anything that must not be changed by the user and must follow gpupdate. Use machine-wide files where there is no domain, and on Linux.
